Reporting to the CEO, you will generate, prospect, and qualify leads, one of the most important components in the sales process. As a key member of the Sales and Marketing team, you will help find opportunities, create a revenue pipeline, and drive revenue. 

Here’s what you’ll be doing if you accept this challenge:

  • Track, process, and follow up on inbound marketing leads, including from our website, web conferences, newsletters, seminars, and events
  • Generate sales leads via outbound cold calling activities and email campaigns 
  • Qualify marketing and sales leads by understanding prospects’ needs, identifying decision-makers, communicating Cumulus Global’s value proposition, and transitioning high potential prospects to the sales team
  • Maintain contact and customer relationship databases, including comprehensive data entry, setting triggers for follow-up, lead tracking and hand-off
  • Develop and maintain current and working knowledge of Cumulus Global products/services and competitive differences
  • Build product knowledge and attains sales certifications for core products and services
  • Achieve or exceed monthly individual metrics

You are cut out for this role if you …

  • Are highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized and flexible;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills; 
  • Successfully meet or exceed individual goals; 
  • Have experience using a CRM solution; 
  • Desire to work in a rapid-growth, entrepreneurial environment; 
  • Earned, or are in the process of earning, an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a communications-related field; and
  • Have up to 2 years proven sales experience selling IT solutions or in related industries.
