Recycle
Beyond typical single-stream recycling (cardboard, plastic, glass), we shred and recycle white paper to help minimize what we send for landfill or incineration.
We donate returnable bottles and cans to Westborough Appalachian Service Project. The money raised supports annual trips to Appalachia, helping individuals and communities build and maintain their homes, communities, and way of life.
Reuse
We are replacing disposable plates, utensils, and cups. An eco-friendly dishwasher saves water and energy when doing the dishes.
Carbon Offset through Reforestation
To further our sustainability efforts and to offset our impact on the environment, we partner with Evertreen to support reforestation projects around the globe.
Joining sustainable, professionally managed, reforestation programs helps us offset our emissions from commuting, business travel, and other business activities.
Each monthly planting will remove over 4.2 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere. This is equivalent to the amount of CO2 created by driving over 11, 000 miles in a car getting the average miles per gallon in the United States.
In addition to helping the environment, these projects support local agriculture and economies. Some of our projects increase local food supplies; all projects provide local jobs.
